SCE Flexible Pricing Rate
+$120/yr
The FPR pilot from SCE is risk-free, you won't pay more for your charging than your current rate. You can earn up to $10 per month from ev.energy, plus, after 12 and 24 months of participating, you will receive lump sum bill credits for your annual savings.

The FPR pilot uses hourly energy market prices, which vary based on supply and demand on the grid. Once enrolled, ev.energy will maximize your savings by automatically charging your EV during the cheapest hours. You continue to pay your SCE bill as you normally would, while SCE and ev.energy calculate how much you are saving by charging on FPR compared to your current rate.

Up to $4/eventIf you don't qualify for either the SIDER program or FPR pilot, you can still earn cash incentives for participating in exclusive ev.energy charging events. You can earn up to $4 per each charging event you participate in!

These exclusive incentives are offered to you by ev.energy, and your participation helps ensure a reliable and more affordable grid for all Californians! How does it work?
You connect your EV or charger to the grid
Create your account, securely sign in to SCE, and connect your EV or home charger to ev.energy to unlock exclusive savings and incentives.
We apply on your behalf
ev.energy will submit your application to SCE to see if you are eligible for the SIDER program and FPR pilot. The verification process with SCE can take 3-4 weeks.
Your EV automatically charges on your schedule
Your EV will always be charged by your personalized schedule. The app measures battery state of charge, charge speed and kilowatt-hours (kWh) required to ensure your EV is charged by your 'ready by' time each day.
View your charging and incentives
Your charging is displayed on your personalized dashboard along with your incentives earned. You can view or download your charging data in the app anytime.

What is EV Shift?+
EV Shift is a Southern California Edison (SCE) managed charging program powered by ev.energy. It brings together two SCE programs: the SIDER program (Stability Improvements with DERs) and the Flexible Pricing Rate Pilot, to reward SCE EV drivers for smart charging.
Why do I need to connect my SCE account?+
Connecting your SCE utility account to your ev.energy account lets us confirm your account number, rate plan (tariff), and other details needed to verify your eligibility for EV Shift.
How do I sign up?+
Log in to your ev.energy account and navigate to the sign-up link: web.ev.energy/sce/sign-up. This link will take you through web onboarding and connecting your SCE account.
How long does it take to find out if I'm eligible?+
After you connect your SCE account, ev.energy will pre-review your information. If we believe you're likely eligible, we'll submit your details to SCE. SCE's final verification can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks.
